Audiophony CARBON18A 18" Active Subwoofer Cabinet with DSP 1000W

The Audiophony CARBON 18Asub is an active subwoofer featuring a Class D amplifier with a total power output of 1000 W RMS and 2000 W maximum. It is powered via a 220-240V AC 50 Hz switching SMPS. The subwoofer is equipped with an 18-inch woofer with a 4-inch voice coil and a 95.6 Oz magnet, rated at 8 Ohms with 800 W AES and 1600 W program power.

For connectivity, it offers two line inputs via COMBO XLR/JACK and two XLR line outputs. Its settings are managed through a DSP system that includes multiple configurations such as Position, Mode, Equalizer, LED, Reset, and Info. The subwoofer also features short-circuit, thermal, and limiter protection for safe operation.

The construction includes a reinforced 15mm multi-ply case with a textured Polyurea anti-scratch finish and an integral metal grille. It has LED Power/Clip indicators on the front, two side handles, a 36 mm base for a top tube, and four rubber pads underneath for stability.
