This active DI box serves for optimum connection of musical instruments with unbalanced, high-impedance outputs to balanced, low-impedance inputs of a mixer. Due to the balanced connection to the mixer, signal interference can be prevented even in case of long cable runs. The input connection is via 1/4" jack the output is via XLR connector. The unit operates in active mode, i.e. it requires a operating voltage, for this unit a PP3 battery. Should hum loops occur, the ground connection between the inputs and the outputs can be separated by means of the ground lift switch. The unit is provided with four sturdy rubber feet which provide protection from shocks or vibrations.
