A digital to analogue converter, which converts DMX512 to 72 analogue outputs or MIDI to 72 analogue outputs. This will allow you to use old style 0-10 volt dimmers with new DMX controllers. An alpha-numeric display on the front panel indicates the DMX start address and the programming options. The last scene remains if the DMX control disappears. A pre-stored scene can be made available for emergency use. The converter memory is backed up in EEPROM.
