These transformers are designed for outside use and are water resistant. The larger type is supplied in an IP44 box, where the lid can be removed and connections made internally. The 60 watt type has flying leads, but is waterproof. Care must be taken when making any connections to these transformers. Seals must be carefully replaced and care taken to stop the ingress of water into joints and connections. Consult a qualified electrician if you are unsure.
