It goes without saying that lighting is probably the most essential piece of disco equipment any DJ can have! With so many options on the market choice isn't a problem, making a decision what disco lights to go for can be!
When choosing any DJ or disco lighting you should carefully consider its intended purpose; What size venue will it be used in? How accessible is it for maintenance? Do you want to use a controller with your DJ lighting?
All of the standard disco lighting in this section uses bulbs, so general maintenance will be required. You may prefer a lighting unit that doesn't need bulbs, in which case you may want to visit our LED Disco Lighting Section and see the advantages that LED technology has to offer.
If you require disco lighting that can be controlled through a lighting controller, look out for lights that state DMX. Some DJ lights only run "Sound to Light", this can be a good option for those that just want to plug in and be away, mobile DJ's, school discos etc.
